    Default "Feed-a-thon" - Promoting B/Feeding

this was mentioned in another thread about breastfeeding in public and I think its a really fantastic idea! So many ladies feel uncomfortable breastfeeding in public and feel they need to go away to do it. As a few hubbers mentioned, because its not something you see often and doesnt seem to be a "common" thing. If mre women breastfed in public, maybe we could raise more awareness and make so many more mother's comfortable in doing something natural and what is normal for their babies.

I even wndered if there is a world record for the most amount of breastfeeding mother's in one go. Imagine all those boobies! The bubs would go nuts!!

Would anyone be interested in this sort of thing? Maybe in a park or something. We could do our own promotion, maybe even contact the ABA?!

    What do you guys rekon?!

I think there was a similar thing a few years ago, maybe even more recent - maybe I was pregnant? I dunno when but I know there was a world record attempt in recent years.

But it is a FANTASTIC idea Kriss, the ABA would be on board surely! Even if you just suggest a big Sydney-wide ABA meeting in a park somewhere.

    Yay for B( . )( . )bies!!!!

It is a regular event in august I think, whenever breastfeeding week is. And there is a world record, every year we try to break it

I think it would take to december to organise it!!

The sydney wide meet sounds a plan. That would prob be a nice easy place to start!!

Hopefully we get a heap of girlies interested. Maybe we could do a national bubhub boobie feeding meet. Where we get as many hubbers together around the country on the same day . .
