I had a hens night. I went with the girls out to dinner then for a night on the town doing a bit of bar hopping. We all pitched in and rented an apartment in the city and crashed there overnight. Was a fantastic night

I had one about three weeks before my wedding.
We had dinner at a Tepanaki (Sp) bar, and then went out to a bar. And well after all the shots, champers and god knows what else, I chucky chundered in the sink in the ladies and was home in bed by 10pm. MIL holding my hair back while I vomitted and BM using her hand to get the chunks out of the drain so it would unblock. My mum thought it was very amusing. I actually got asked to leave the premises. It was def a night to remember. But I can laugh about it now. The good thing was that I wasn't even hungover the next day, cause I threw up so much and was home so early.

It was fantastic eveyone enjoyed themselves and some had a lot to drink but no The majority of us also didn't go home and stayed the night in the city, next morning got facials and massages then did some pre-wedding/homemoon shopping in the city.

Yep, sure did! Mine was 2 weeks before the wedding.
We went to the races during the day all dressed in Red and black, then went to a kareoke chinese resturant for dinner then hit the pubs. It was a great day/night.

I did, it was one of the best nights out I have ever had.

It wasn't that we did anything different or unique it was just a really fun night with all of my girlfriends.

We went for dinner at a mexican restaurant and then went out on the town.

My friends had made me a colourful veil so everyone knew it was a hens night.

I had specifically said I don't want it to be obvious I was a hen as I hate being the centre of attention but in hidnsight it was great as everyone was saying congratulations and stuff. (except one person who told me not to do it, it will be a mistake!!!)

Mine was probably 3 to 4 weeks before our wedding.

Yes I had one - You have to!

We went to the races for the day & then went to the Valley & city (well a few of us - most went home after the races) to watch River Fire under the Story Bridge where one of the girls' family had saved a great spot. Her dad also worked at the fire station in the Valley just up the hill from where we were & took us on a tour of the station so that was different - my sis & I got pics donning the (very heavy) fireman's jacket & helmet & sitting in the driver's seat (with our good dresses underneath & our frangipani lays lol). They then got a call out so we had to go (after having a sit down in the recliners in the (big screen) tv room room!).

We then went to a couple of bars, no one wanted to go to the clubs ot go dancing as I seem to be the only one who likes doing that ... some weird guy was freaking us out while waiting for my dad to collect my sis & friend and me waiting for dh to collect me so that sort of ruined it ...

Home & in bed before midnight though. I was very pi$$ed at the races as one of my friends asked ifI drank champers & bought a big bottle then said she DIDN't drink it!!! Some guys chatted us up & bought us champers too & did a toast! My mum thought it was so funny & he gave her a kiss! HAHA. I was sober before we hit the bars. Didn't spew either

A few weeks before the wedding I went out with some girl friends and DH went out with some mates for a few hours, then all met up at the end of the night and partied some more.

And yes I had to wear a novelty veil
