Default Has anybody heard of anyone doing this

Ok im not going to do this it really doesnt sound safe .. me and dp where surfing the net looking at natural induction ways tips and waht not to do ... now it was just a google search we did and came up with a way that a women can give herself a sort of internal and scrape away the membrane to make her waters brake and then follow iwth sex to soften the cervix .. i have never heard of this and thought it would be very unsafe .... has anybody else heard of it or is it one of those lovely internet bull**** stories

I think what you are referring to is a DIY stretch and sweep???

I tried this on myself, but because I have a retroverted uterus and my cervix is tilted waaaaaaay back I couldn't even reach it!!! lol, the nurses had a hard time reaching it too...lol

your better off not doing it
thats why the drs do it
they know what they are doing.

my DF friends mum broke her own waters with a knitting needle!
    now thats insane!
i cant believe she did that!

Matt is a bit strange so maybe thats why
    haha
It's a woman's choice what she does with her own body, but when she is entrusted with the care of another life, whether in her womb or as a newborn, she has an added responsibility.
The importance of this should be far greater than her own needs.
