    Default bottle fed..... baby poo's

Hi guy this is my very first thread, so i need lots of love and support.....
I have bottle fed my DS from 2 weeks onwards, he is now 5 and 1/2 months, and the only time i can remember him having normal colored poo's was when i breast fed him, he has had ARMY GREEN poo's ever since. I told my doctor and she said its normal for bottle fed babys... Just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same problem.

    Hi jtk'smum,

Yes, I also noticed this when I changed from BF to Formula at 6 months.

I asked CHN who said it is completley normal. If you have Robin Barker's book Baby Love, it also talks about the different "shades" etc.

We have just started foods like Bolagnaise - that's when the poo gets really interesting!

Hi and welcome to bubhub. I stopped breastfeeding after 3 months and was alarmed at the green poo that my daughter did when drinking formula!!
But it is normal, and they do change colour quite a bit. Can't remember when they stopped being green though.
Making the decision to have a child - it's momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking outside your body.

    Welcome to the HUb!

Yep, it's completely normal. My DD's poo is also green and yellow, I freaked out the first time I saw it because it is VERY GREEN I BF her for 4 wks so don't remember what the colour was then.

One thing I notice is FF poo is bl**dy stinky!
