    Default Open Universities Australia

I realise this is a long shot...
but, has anyone studied a Bachelor of Arts (Visual art) through Open Universities Australia?
The course offered is actually a Curtain University degree... but delivered externally through OUA.

Has anyone studied anything through OUA before?

I would be very interested in hearing peoples experiences.

    Thanks

    Hi

I am currently studying a Bachelor of Information Systems through OUA however it is a Swinburne degree . I have only just started in Feb and i think its great as i am a full time mum, so being able to study externally works out great for me.

If you want to know anything else just let me know.

I am and have been for the past year doing single units through OU, Uni of SA. Thinking of applying again for Bach of Nursing, also external with some clinical in SA, for 2008.

You have to be self motivated but contact readily available with lecturers etc and forum for students to talk to each other. They also let you know who is in your area that is willing to be contacted to study together. think it's a great concept as able to be worked better around families then having to attend an institution.
I just made up study timetables with sheets they sent me and went to the library if quiet/concentration was needed and unavailable at home. Can be very easy to get distracted at home otherwise.

I'm currently studying through OUA. I'm doing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice with Griffith University and also a Bachelor of Arts in Indigenous Studies with UniSA and RMIT.
I've been enrolled with OUA for about 18 months and have found then to be really helpful.
Just before the start of the new study periods I have someone ring me to go over what units I want to enroll in which is great because if you have any questions about the course they can answer it for you.
