I am new to this website, so hi to all. I am a stay at home mum of two children aged 5 and 2. I am contemplating going back to work but have heard so much about it not being financially viable. I would like to hear from anyone who has number crunched the idea of working part-time or full-time and what costs you took into consideration. I have factored in child care costs and fuel but that seems to simple. Is there other factors I should be considering. Would love to hear from anyone who could help.
