    Question Perth hospital

Hi! I'm looking for someone who recently had a baby at Osborne Pk Hospital Stirling. My question is has the service there improved a lot for antenatal & delivery plus post birth care?
For my last 2 children (16 & 12 yrs ago) it was not up to standards. #1 was xlnt for a local hospital. I had lots of help from student nurses. #2 was worst they were simply too busy & empathetic at times. Plus everything post birth was self service. I had to find a shower that was clean as well as get a bed .
Anyway are we better off going to King Edwards Hospital for the lot. So far King Eddies services has been xlnt. It's in the spot light & must be the best maternity hospital in its class. Just parking is . BTW EDD 25/10/2007 I'll be 37. Not a high risk client.
    Thanks. 118

Sorry probably cant really help you much but apparently they have had major renovations over the last few years, but that said it sort of means nothing as it is the care you get that counts. I am not too sure but I think you can go and have a tour there and see what you think. On KEMH quite a few of my friends had their babies there and not one of them has had a bad word to say about them.

I give a massive thumbs up to KEMH..
I cant rave about them enough.. I had great care, excellant support, my own room, help and advice, they even organised transport for me and my son to PMH (and back to KEMH) when he needed some tests before his operation and sent a midwife along with me to keep me company and offer me support..

I am returning this time and would not think of having my baby elsewhere...

Not sure about Ozzie park (was booked in there at first but changed to KEMH when i became high risk) But thats my opinion on KEMH..

I had my two at King Eddies they were great i was high risk and they looked after me great.

In saying that i had 2 opperations at Ossie park and they were great apart from the LONG waiting list.

Default thank you for your replies

Thanks everyone for your valued feedbacks. Hubby & I will reconsider our options. Looks like we'd go to King Eddies after all. I just need to change the antenatal ref docs. with my GP on Thursday. Come to think about it, I'm better off at King Eddies cause I'm older now & my migraine levels aren't getting better. After all that dissatisfaction 2x with Ozie Pk merternity care service , I'd need a change. This time be selfish & get the royal treatment for a miracle ICSI baby.

    Thanks. 118

After minor tiffs with my GP, we managed to get a spot at KEMH. Yesterday was my 1st. antenatal session. We're in the Tuesday / Aqua team. To date staff & service has been . Glad I picked KEMH because we took your advise plus I belive we'll get a private room post delivery & that be nice when visitors pop by to meet Rex (fuss free-no need to feed them).Yet somehow to share a room with other mums & bubs be less isolated. 118
