i went 5 yrs ago with ds1. it was crazy, kids running round every where. of course it could of all changed now, however i find if you have babies the best playgroups are just for babies as a) they grow up together and b) they dont get barrelled over by bigger kids.

i have been to the playgroup you are talking about once about 8 months ago.it wasnt the best really thats why i only went once.the kids mostly older than my daughter who was 7 months at the time and the mums were all older than me.i just felt a bit out of place.the hall is also quite old looking.i go to one now at labrador which is great.new hall, air con.i know you cant make it there though jackie.i live on hansford road and have been thinking for a while ladies around the area should have turns once a week of having meets at their place. i got the idea cos sooo many ladies with kids just in this complex alone and its great for people who cant travel far.i have thought of putting up a sign but never got off my bum to do it!!anyone interested?let me know im up for a chat and let the kids play.
