What about an upset tummy? DS had his 12 month needles about 10 days ago. Had the fever the last few days, accompanied by loose BMs and a few vomits and dry heaves. They didn't mention anything about an upset tummy. Anyone else experienced that or should I be looking for another cause?

hey missy, They didnt mention anything to me about an upset tummy but did ask me a lot if DD had diarreoah and such and then told me that it is now Peak Gastro season so it might be worth a trip to the doctor for you hope everything is ok!

Hi Glad your little one is ok! My DS had a fever of 39 about 4 days after his needles. At first I didn't put 2 and 2 together and took him to the drs. The doctors said there was nothing wrong with him except the fever. It wasn't until a couple of days later that I realized it must have been the needle. I am starting to think this is more common than you report. Every one I know since that has taken their babies for 12 months shots has had the same and the babies are just generally miserable!
