Hi. I am xkwzit (sound it out: exquisite), really I am . I've been a member of the hub since September 2004. The hub was so small back then, like DD2. I originally joined thinking that I might have some advice to share with other mums. What I didn't expect was to meet an amazing bunch of phenomenal women (and occasional exceptional bloke), who enjoy very thoughtful discussions on a wide range of issues (as well as the occasional "robust" debate).

I enjoy moderating the hub (keeping it nice), just the way we like our online community.

My earliest memory is....my 3rd birthday party (it was a Sunday)

My most humiliating moment was....so bad I will NOT share it
My last meal would be....chick pea battered mussels
When I was a child I wanted to....be a princess
It's not fashionable but I love....science fiction
The last big belly laugh I had was....at tickle (she says the funniest things)
If I were a car I'd be....the Lexus hybrid sports car

   Married
2. What sort of birth did you have?
   Un-assisted VB with an epi that I LOVED for both births. I pushed my babies out all by myself, I could feel the pressure of every contraction, but no pain - bliss! I did have an episiotomy (both times), but mainly because I have psychological issues with tearing, which has nothing to do with any medical research.
3. Preferred parenting style?
   Hmm, I don't know where I am with that. I don't smack, only sometimes yell, am happy to reason and explain, but never accept a simple "NO" as an argument. I am happy to have midnight cuddles from the children, I pick my battles, BUT I am your mother, and unless you have a good reason, what I say goes!

   One brother

   Younger than me

   I am distantly related to Barry Crocker

   Thailand, UK, NZ

   Sleep in, eat pancakes, go to church, have lunch with family

   People who fly off the handle for no reason

    I think I'm a melange
