    Default baby friendly restaurant

Hi there - my father in law is coming to visit us from interstate for 2 nights and would like to go out to eat maybe a dinner or easier for us - a lunch.

Anyone from Sydney got some bubby friendly destinations??? We are on the upper north shore - thought maybe the Newport arms for a casual lunch .... but what about dinner??????

    Thanks bubhubbers

I don't live in Sydney anymore but we take MJ out a fair bit. We find that places like Hogs Breath or Lone Star are great. They are noisey enough to hide her squeals

Also chinese restaraunts are great to take kids to. We used to go out to them all the time with my sister & her 3boys.

Hiya lucyp, long time no see!! :-)

You wont find it hard to find any good "baby friendly" restaurants in our area , all you have to do is make the reservation ahead and make sure "no smoking" (most of them are no smoking anyway), so avoid anykinda of bar restaurants.

I would suggest you our regular restaurant-nice food nice atmopshere, nice soft music perfect for the lil one and family, but its wee bit too far from where you are (mind you am not very good with geography-this one is near Willoughby area).
PM me anytime for the exact location!

The Newport Arms is great for lunch. There are lots of birds and that certainly keeps the little ones entertained. You need to get there early though to get a good seat under a tree and get lots of shade.

The water is great too and boats coming and going.

Dinner - not always so easy with little ones if its bed time. We do try to avoid it but if we can't, I try to get my little girl to have a big afternoon sleep later than normal. We've been to Hogs Breath and they are good and plenty of room in the corners for a pram.
