Does anyone else have a child who is not coping well with daycare? We have recently had to change daycare centres and whilst my eldest child (4 and a half) has coped very well my youngest (11 months) is having a very hard time. She screams as soon as the instructors try to take her from me or if I put her on the floor and will crawl around after me as I unpack her bag etc... If I go to give her a goodbye cuddle she clings to me and cries her heart out. It is quite distressing to watch. She is also not taking her bottles from the instructors but will take them from me if I give her one before I leave or when I pick her up so she isn't sick or anything. She was attending the other centre three days a week and she started their when she was six months old, she didn't have anywhere near the same problems when she started there but she was a lot younger. I am hoping that she calms down over the next couple of days / coming week as I start a new job on Monday and the guilt is terrible.
