    Default Classes

Just wondering what sort of exercise classes people go to, what you like about them and what you don't like! I don't do may as I am rather unco.
I love RPM, no way would I push myself that hard on a bike without a trainer! Great workout, always feel like I am going to be sick but burns heaps of calories and you are in control of the intensity. No risk of bumping into anyone else or being left behind
I also like pump as I feel pretty confident around weights and there are no fancy moves which require coordination.
My gym has just brought out boot camp. Has anyone tried this?

I just do dvd workouts at home, I don't like to exercise in front of people. If I go to a gym it's a women's gym.

Well I did boot camp this morning and boy am I unfit . First half was jogging, sprints, push ups, dips and boxing. Second half seems to be up to the trainer we did a workout that was a mix of pump and body combat, the other trainer likes to do the second half on the bike.
I was scared of going to this as you have to be paired up and for someone who is already shy of working out in a class this was something I dreaded. Not so bad though once I realised it was only for the boxing. Now am I the only person out there who seems to have no sense of tempo, I am always the person going up when everyone else is going down. Also I find pump a bit weird sometimes as I have always trained properly with weights where you actually are encouraged to take your time through each movement and keep correct form. Pump seems to sacrafice some of that for speed.
