Very Stubborn Baby & 31 Hr Labour

hi guys, just want to say im new to this site, im jackie 21 and a beautiful son izacc, now 7months now let me tell you the longest 31 hrs i have ever gone through, Due on the 14th april, he was 2 weeks late

i woke up on Anzac day 25th april at 3.15am with small pains like cramping so went to the loo then back to bed, but 15 min later the pain got worse, so woke my fiancee aaron up, he got me a hot water bottle and i said i think im in labour, we both got very excited, aaron sister was here due to go back to melb that night so she wanted izacc to come there and then. but no izacc was sturborn we all went for walks all morning the pain was so bad, i just couldnt prepare what i was in for, so my water broke at around 8am then iwas ringing the hospital all day, they were saying stay at home and the said it wasnt my water breaking, but i said to aaron "well i just didnt wet myself", so anyway we did more walking up and down the street, we rang family and told them that i was in labour, so going all day the contractions were still painfull but bareable, cherie aarons sister had to leave to catch her flight back to melb,, she was crying all the way home as she will miss out on the birth of her nephew she was my other support person.
so my friend rang up around 6pm so that is 15hrs so far in labour she came and drove us to hospital, so they did an internal, i swear to god that was so painfull, i was 4cm anyway we went to the labour room and settled in thecontractinos were still bareabe we went for walks then had food, by 10 i needed drugs so had gas then at about 12 i needed something stronger so i had the pethadine, still on the gas aswell, i was so tired by this stage 20hrs still going so the doctors told me that i havnt dialated since 6pm, i was like oh s***, so they gave me the epidural about 3AM, thankgod for that, aaron was getting so tired but still supporting me, it toook about 11/2 for it to work,so at about 4.40am i fell asleep, untill about 8 then woke up they checked me again i was fully dialated at 9am so i started pushing at 9.15 then 45min later out he came, weighing 3.715kg and height 51cm,, we were both crying in hapiness, it was the best day of my life, so 31 hrs latr i had a beautiful boy and a loving husband to be. aaron said he will definaly make sure someone is there by his side as well as mine
i will sure do it again, but hoping its notas long, so i hope you have enjoyed this very long labour with me.
