I don't think it's a proper high chair as such. It looks just like a normal chair but with a higher level for the kids to sit on.
I assume when they are finished with it the top levels folds away somehow so your left with a normal chair.

The chair is a rip-off of the Stokke Tripp Trapp. I've posted a link to show how the kids sit on it. You can also buy a little harness part so they can sit in it when they are little.

The idea of the chairs is that children (including babies) are able to eat at the table with parents (ie there is no tray as per a normal high chair).
The Tripp Trapp's are just gorgeous!

You're right Scout, except they have no submarine prevention... I have a tripp trapp - they are great, nice looking and easy to use and encourage good posture. Just a bit tricky to open the barrier bit in front. This rip off looks a little unsafe though.

Wasn't trying to sell it!! Just couldn't work it out, nor did i know it was a rip off, of something else...
