    Default Calling all computer Whiz's

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone out there is familar with converting webpages to a PDF file and what software to use. My website is getting pretty full and i was going to take some of the earlier photos off there but I would like to have a copy of the website in a pdf file so i can print and keep it as a keepsake for my son. Has anyone got any idea how to do it? or even if i can do it. I can order a copy from my website provider but i have to pay so I thought id see if I could do it myself.

    Thanks in advance!

You can actually save your web page as a web page ofline,

it will be heaps smaller in file size than pdf's and you will retain the qulity of the jpgs.

Just in Internet explorer, go FILE > SAVE PAGE as web page complete.

Save it somewhere on your computer.

or, if you have the ftp details for your web site you can download all the files in one go.

    Hi Hayley,

Yeah - PDF's can get messy and the program is run through Adobe Reader (it can be expensive to buy).

However, there is a new software program built into Microsoft Office 2003. It is called Microsoft Office Document Image Viewer. It allows you to save the pages - through the print feature.

With PDF files however, unless you have the program installed - you can't edit them.

The other option - as per previous post - save the pages individually as webpages. Not sure whether the images on your site are yours - or from the host. You may have to save the images to your PC in order to keep them and to keep viewing the pages as they are.

Another way to them keep the website is them to burn to CD.
