Default anyone that uses NUK dummies please read this

I was just reading up about thes tests they did on the dummies.

DS has a NUK one but it wont be going back in his mouth again!

It's a woman's choice what she does with her own body, but when she is entrusted with the care of another life, whether in her womb or as a newborn, she has an added responsibility.
The importance of this should be far greater than her own needs.

We don't use Nuk, and Mr Chicken only has a dummy when he's in bed, and that's where it stays too, but that is pretty scary!

I heard about this a while back and chucked all of DS's Nuk dummies immediately.

If anyone is interested the Heinz Baby Basics dummy has the same shaped nipple but a larger faceplate part so is a good substitute

thanks for the warning...DS never took to dummies and we are currently deciding whether to give this baby a dummy when she is born so this is helpful in case we end up giving her one... thanks again

Grrrr Why do they sell these things
I have to admit though DS seems to think his NUK dummy is a mouthguard of some sort Though it wont fit into his mouth he does try and eat it.

From what I've heard and been told it's only the newer design ones. Not sure but DD had the cute little pink and white one, as do most of my friend's bubs and we never had a prob with that one.
