hey all! I;m 25 with 2 kids aged 4mths and 2yrs. I've gained a ****load of weight and i'm tired of wearing daggy clothes to hide the excess bumps.
thinking of doing Lite n' Easy but wana know if it actually works. I'm worried about the financial side of things and hubby wants to go on it too.
How much does it cost for 2 of you to go on it?
    Please help...need some inspiration please!!!!

I checked out their website and looks good. Just gotta convince hubby that we can justify the costs. Can u cancel anytime or are u trapped in a contract?
How much exercise do you have to do? I'm not a fan of exercise but i realise i gotta do some to get the results!

The great thing about it is that there is no contract. You can order your food week to week and stop whenever you like. I get the full 7 day menu and it costs me $119 a week. DH said I can give it a go for 4 weeks and see if I lose any weight - if I don't, then we won't fork out any more money on it. Mind you, I've been on it for five days and already lost 1kg. I love the convenience of just going to the fridge and pulling out my little bag which contains my breakfast or lunch and not having to think about what I am having. The dinners are really tasty too. I really look forward to those I exercise 3 times a week for 30 minutes but I have heard of people losing weight by not exercising.

If I had known LNE was THIS simple and yummy, I would have started on it AGES ago!

It's really quite delicious. And easy. And OH so worth it.

I do it 5 days a week, so that I can still do stuff on the other days (like go out to the shops and eat there for example - I'll just order a salad or sandwich instead of junk). It also means that I can have healthy family meals too, rather than feeding everyone something different.

On my non-LNE days, I still stick to a LNE-style meal plan. Today is an off-day for example... as so far, for Breakfast I had 30g Special K, 1/2 cup lite milk and an apple. For Morning Tea, I had a No Fat Yoghurt (they're the lowest in calories I can find - Yoplait No Fat!). For Lunch I'm having a cheese and tomato sandwich and a WW fruit tub thing. For Afternoon tea I'm have a WW muffin bar (low in calories... I compared the difference between them other snacks on hte LNE arvo-snack list, and they're not too much different). For dinner, I'm having a Lean Cuisine.

The thing about LNE is it's all about healthy eating AND healthy portions. BUT, the portions aren't NEARLY as small as I expected... actually, most frozen meals from the supermarket are only about 300g... whereas teh LNE ones are more like 400-500g... (but the usually contain steamed veges, unlike other frozen meals).

You're eating so regularly, there's really no time for hunger to set in!@
I've now lost 36kg thanks to the gastric sleeve!

I went on it and found that I was eating far too many carbs!

I did lose weight though - just very slowly.

I have just cancelled my order this week after being on it for 10 weeks. I thought is was great and very well balanced and I lost 9kg. DH is also on it. I mainly went on it to get the kick-start I needed for my own weight loss and it gives you a great idea about portion sizes.

Have you had a look at the CSIRO diet?
It has fantastic recipes (that the whole family can eat - I just add pasta/potatoes for the boys) and the weight does come off...and it teaches you about how to cook nutritious, healthy meals instead of them just arriving at the door and you heating it.

For me it is worth every penny. I need things to be very disciplined to work, so for me to have evrything there ready to go is wonderful. I am like Sassy, I wish someone had told me earlier! As for cost, we are both doing it (more so DH can support me) and we are not spending any more than we would on groceries for the week. Everything is there and all you need to buy is skim milk. The food is delish.

I just started week 2 today and I have lost 2.5 kilos, I am stoked cause it is just so easy. Like jo, I am just doing mine to lose my first 10kilos and then go from there.

It's true - in general you WILL lose weight slowly... but that's the way healthy weight-loss should go - about up to 1kg in one week (though the first few weeks might lose a fair bit more than that!).

I am 1 day from completing a whole week of LNE...

Anyway, about 2 weeks ago, I weighed myself. Yesterday, I weighed myself again. I'm not sure of how much I was the day before i started LNE, only 2 weeks ago... but since then, I've lost SIX KILOS! I'm not expecting that kind of weightloss regularly... but I am quite amazed.
