Tell me about Yamba!

Dh is having surgery next week and is getting a few weeks off work - YIPPEE!!!!

In his last week off, we are thinking of breaking out of the big smoke and heading south.

Can anyone give me their experiences of Yamba?

Oh Mel, well I haven't been there personally, but I know a few people who have stayed at Tourist Park there and say it is great especially for kids.

I don't know if that helps much

Mmmmm...Yamba....nice.

The next big smoke behind Byron....a big ol' pub on the hill that last time I was there was screaming to be renovated (probably done by now). Nice apartments, parks, small town atmosphere, not real touristy and of course a beautiful beach area, fishing in the river, fresh seafood etc etc.

i love yamba... i played one of my first paid gigs there
all you need to know is that the surfers are really hot ....i suggest the beach

i lived in a small town called wooli...its between grafton and coff's it rocks, you have the beach to yourself

we went there for a week about 2 yrs ago, its a very nice place and nice and quiet. I recommend it. i would love to go back there again one day.
