I said yes but I wasn't up until the day when I was so nervous about being the centre of attention... went mental on the wedding morning about the tiniest things... the rain; DH not picking the flowers up dead on time and MIL not going to the church on time and brother being late... I was just channwelling nerves and excitement in the wrong direction I think!

    Nope.......not at all.

I told my bridesmaids they can all have their hair exactly however they want it.

I don't think we had any dramas with our wedding at all.............we had a blast Valentine

    Hi,
I think I was...but in a good way if there is such a thing???
I have always been very clear about what I want and what I dont want with regards to everything in life so when it came to our wedding it wass the same, and I got annoyed with everyone how wanted to throw in their suggestions of where we should get married, who should come etc. Hubby and I got engaged in Feb 04 and we visited every wedding venue under the sun in Sydney...in the end it ended up that our wedding was going to cost us $20,000, mum and dad had to put in their 2cents in, hubbys mum did so to, hubby could not decide so I lost the plot one day and said...that's it if we are getting married we are doing to Bali...doing it our way.
We spent $8,000 approx, had a lavish wedding which lasted for 2 weeks (honeymoon included) stayed in 5 star accomodation and it was the BEST thing we could have done.
But yes...I was a bridezella...only because of the other people around me.
    me: : 38 hubby: 41 our DD: 6.5
