Default DK9 Follows me like a BAD smell!

DK9 has always been very affectionate ... but since I have had DS he is so much worse ... he follows me around all day like a bad smell!

I have trodden on him so many times and am nearly tripping over him.

DK9 has always had to be near me, but I could at least walk from one end of the room to the other without him getting up and following me - now I can't even take 2 steps ...

He gets along with DS very very well and DS thinks DK9 is sooo funny .. don't know what to do to make poor DK9 feel more secure?

Hi! I have the exact same problem! I was going to start a thread on it but I didn't want people to think I was a *****!Whenever I'm trying to settle my baby-I'll walk around in a big circle holding her and my dog Woody will follow me back and forth-it drives me crazy!I can't walk 2 steps away from him. The other day I was sleeping and he was jumping up on the side of the bed for ages trying to get my attention!I have to admit, I haven't given him as much attention but my baby is only 10 weeks old!I'm still getting used to people and animals fighting for my attention all day!I wish he was more independent! When you find out the answer you have to tell me!

    Ohh so you think I'm a *****!

    Kidding.

Yer hopefully it ends soon - although DS is 6 months old and DK9 is still lingering!

    Your avater is really cute!

Some times they just dont get it do they!
Good luck not breaking him/her before it stops!!!

Very VERY Cute though! (and very very annoying!)

Sometimes people look into the sun and see nothing but the eternal dark
Instead of attacking them, why not share some of your sun?

    Be KIND today and everyday.

Sorry! I didn't mean to imply that your a *****! I always stop myself from writing things cos I think i'm being politically incorrect! I've started putting my dog outside for a while to get him used to being alone and then when he has stopped crying I give him some chicken necks.Hope it works!
