Question I need help with unusal boy names.

Hi everyone, well i just found out last week that im pg! My DP and i are choosing some names for boys but we cant decide. We already have a girls name already picked out its just the boys name we are having troubles with.
I like unusual names that arent very common. I really like the name Dakota but DP doesnt what do you think? What other names can you suggest?

Congratulations on the news - that's wonderful!

I've attached a link here to a US website which contains the top 1000 names for the decade ... should give you some food for thought.

    Names, names and more names!

I had the name Eden picked out if my little one turned out to be a boy. Not too common, and not strange enough for other kids to tease him. I still love the name

I LOVE the name Blaise, its not very common and doesn't seem as strange as Blaze (sorry to anyone who's child is a Blaze... ). We had Jackson & Connor picked out as boys names, but they're becoming more common every day....

And he'd be "Griff" for short.

I also like Garrick (would LOVE to have a little boy to call "Gazza"). DH would not even consider either (good thing we had girls )

    Cheers

    Congratulations Jaydensmum!!!

I had some names picked out before I even met DH - but he didn't like them...

    Layne and Harley

We also discussed Rick, Jack, Tyler and I LOVE Oliver.

A friend had a boy a couple of months ago and called him Stealth?!?! And a guy I worked with had a boy called Rocklyn - I thought that was quite nice and unusual (Rocky???)
When an internet forum is able to make you feel like cr@p, like you have nothing to offer the world and you're a complete waste of space, that your opinions are irrelevant & even if they were relevant no one wants to hear them...... then it's time to leave.......

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Some of them ill talk to DP about and see what he thinks. Thanks also to Newmumjuly05 for the congratulations. I also like the name Tyler but i dont think DP was too keen. He liked the name "Monaro"!!!! Typical male liking cars and wants to name his son after a V8!!

So if it's the big boys toys theme DH is after ... why not Harley?
