Hi, My name is Hilja and i am thinking of starting a mums group for mums from all over the world that live in Melbourne with no family in OZ and are feeling lonely

I am from Finland,born in Estonia and speak Russian.

Hi Hilja, I'm very new to the country as well with no family to get support. I'm also I have a 2 year old son a and have another baby coming along! Due in Aug. Meanwhile I think it's a great idea to start a mum's group, I know I'll need the support!!! Cheers, Hazel

hi, Christian.. thanks.. i thought of this for a while. It get a bit hard sometimes with everything, and not to have family around.. well i gess You know what i mean. How long have u been in australia? if you want to chat just add my email on yr msn.

Hi trenk, I don't know of an international mums group in Melbourne, but I just thought I'd post to help revive this thread. I've been living down the peninsula since August and have a 17 month old boy and a little girl due in August. I'd be interested if you get a group going.

our little family is just arrived here in Melb. We´re from Germany and i also would like to meet new persons in the area. Our daughter is almost 6 months. We´re do you live??
Or does somebodyelse knows a group where my daughter and i could be meet other kids/mums and dads??
