    Question air con vs fan

    hi all,

just after a lil advice here. we have air con in our bedroom and we have it on at nite and bub will be in our room for the first few months (i'm due in 9 dayz ) and i was wondering, during the day is it okay to just open the windows and have the ceiling fan on (we live in cairns)? its just that i like to let fresh air into the bedroom during the day so it doesn't end up smelly

why do we close our eyes when we dream, when we kiss and when we make love?? because the most beautiful things in life are seen with the heart!!!

I don't see why that wouldn't be a problem. I open my DD's window when she's not asleep to air the room a little. Only if it's really hot I keep the windows shut as the a/c is on.

Just be aware though that if you are having the a/c on at night make sure bubs is not right under it and has a summer blanket on - babies cannot regulate their body temperature at such a young age and will probably feel the cold more than you guys.

I think it's fine. Natural air would prob be better anyway.
