    Default Twisted pelvis....

I was just wondering if anyone has/is suffering from a twisted pelvis and if you have any good advice that worked well for you.
My physio works wonders on it, but only feels good for 3 days then hurts again. Just can't afford to spend $100 a week to visit him til I have the baby in April...

Yeah, I had this, bloody hurts too.

I spent alot of time in the bath, it was the only place it didn't hurt, and I had quite a few days off work because of it.

I got a pelvic belt off my physio. It helped. Its just a belt made out of seatbelt type material that you wear around your hips, under your bump.

If its any consolation it didn't really affect my labour and bubby actually put my pelvis back in place on his way out (clever kid) and I haven't had any troubles with it since then.

I feel your pain hunny, I really do!

    hi

it is soo painful isn't it. An constant aching pain.
I was wondering if it would affect the birth. I can't even lay on my back now cause it hurts too much.
Physio did mention about the belt and said if I go back then he will give me one. That will be nice for the summer...

    Thanks for your reply...

Just to add, I bought a pregnancy pillow from Spotlight which also helped a bit.

I birthed on all fours. I couldn't have given birth laying on my back, not that I wanted to anyway, I had to lay on my back for a 10 minute trace and it was the worst part of the whole birth.

So you might have to be a bit creative, but it will probably be better anyway.
