Implantation???

Hi everyone.

I was thinking about getting the implantation pill. Does anyone have it? Is it good? How do you get it? Sorry fo all the Q's but I want to know more about it before I decide, Im just not good at taking the pill.

r u talking about the implanon? the rod that gets inserted into your arm? or is this another pill type thing?

Same question - are you perhaps meaning Implanon - implant that goes in your arm? If so, you can check out there are a couple of threads where some of us have given our experiences with the Implanon.

No worries...
in my experience... i didnt like it. i persisted with it for 2 years , i bled constantly! My doctor said it would take a while for my body to get used to it.. it never did.

But i just couldnt take it anymore!. i also had a bad experience with the doctor that put it in. i had 1 small needle to numb (which didnt work) and then 2 seconds later she shoved it in, i thought i was going to die!

it just hurt so much.

silly me.. went back to the same doc to get it removed.. it looked like the only one she had ever done, coz she was a little unsure!!

Anyways,

Im so sorry to have to tell you all negative things !!
My sister and friend also had it inserted in their arms and they didnt have a problem! (different doc too)

As pegasus said.. there is another thread on here somewhere that could probably give u an idea of other people experiences.. im sure there will be some positives on this subject
