I'll get a new sipper cup for Anaki, but do you want one the same or one like my insulated one? Lemme tell ya, the insulated one is much easier to drink from.

Out of interested, Sharon, I went looking on Ebay coz I am gonna try to buy you another Kapoochi nappy bag for your birthday, and there's only one like yours on there and they're in Brisbane, so I've asked them where they live to pick it up and I'm just wondering if they're in our area, if this is the person who stole it from you? Would be interesting to find out, eh?

Faeml - ha ha ha! If only you knew us! Sharon and I have this unique friendship where we banter to each other... Most people think we're being absolutely horrible to each other. But that's just us. She knows I adore her and Anaki is my little girlie.

Where I'd be without Sharon's support this year I dunno. And I'm sure that other people's opinion's of Sharon because she helps EVERYONE out and she's always there for you if you need her.

She came to Mr Chicken's birthday party yesterday even though she'd been broken into etc and even though I would have understood why she couldn't have come, it was all the more better because she was there.

It's actually ME that's blessed to have her as my friend, not the other way around.

I appreciate everyone's thoughts and advice for this thread (reason why I posted I suppose). Hopefully our tide will change and positive things will come our way. Our DD is our positive light and we are just happy that none of her things (other than what was in the nappy bag) were taken and that she was sleeping with us (what if she'd woken up and they'd try to shut her up or something - I know that would be rare but thoughts go through your head you know).

There are others out there worse off then us but it just angers me that there are scum in this world that have no thoughts for others!!

Some news. The police phoned this evening and let us know that someone had found the nappy bag and our purse/wallets but no phones or money. We can pick them up tomorrow afternoon after they've been dusted for prints.

All our cards are still there but am unsure of whether the contents of the nappy bag is still there.

We picked up our things and yes everything accounted for except the cash out of my DH's wallet - funnily enough I found the $90 I had in my purse as they mustn't have been able to find it.

My DH even has issues finding cash in my purse - he says it's too complicated!! Plus they also left a $20 gift card and a scratchie that had won $2.

Now all I have to do is get us some new mobile phones and wait for our new bank cards to arrive!!

im so glad you got your things back... people who do this really dont have any idea of what its like to earn a living and have pride in acquiring possessions from hard work
