    Default Sleep Ideas

Would love to receive ideas on girls sleeping patterns. She is sleeping 12 hours at night which is fantastic but she is going to bed at 3pm or 4pm so she is waking at 3am or 4am in the morning. Do I wake her at 7-8pm for a feed?? I have always been told not to wake a sleeping baby but I don't know any other way to maybe solve the problem.

How old is your baby? A newborn shouldn't go that long without a feed so if she's very tiny you need to wake her and feed her or risk a dehydrated baby. Try this for information

Babies change their sleeping habits all the time Check out the link so you can get a really good grasp of how they sleep and what's normal. Basically if a baby does it, it's normal!

My DD was exactly the same, wanting to sleep at 4 then waking at 4 am, so every afternoon i would take her for a walk in the pram when she wanted to sleep, she would have a nap, come home bath bottle bed. Worked a treat. Was good exercise for me and my dog loved me for it. I did that for months, she is now 7 months haven't had to do the walk for about 6 weeks now, both myself and the dog miss it though!

    Hope this helps

    hi
My bub was doing the same thing! In the end i woke him at six for a bath and feed then back to bed this seemed to work and before i knew it he would wake himself at this time and sleep the rest of the night!
As much as i don't like to wake a baby its in their best intrest to learn night from day and to have a happy mum!
