Angry trying for #2 and sick of opinions... vent

    Hey ladies

We have decided to try for bubba #2 DS is 6months and am really sick of the opinions from people especially family members on not waiting long enough

like new years for example he was teething so I had a few drinks but not too many because I knew I would be up and down all night but had to sit there and listen to my sil telling me how boring I am now and that I never want to drink or anything anymore

I held my tongue because I enjoy not drinking, I enjoy my bubs - even the bad times!!!

Am I wrong to want a family close together?

I mean you are pregnant for 9months so it isnt like the new bubs will be here tomorrow!!!

Oh hun, I don't think you're wrong for wanting a close family. I might be biased though, my first 2 are 13mths apart.

As long as you and your DH are happy with that decision, that's all that matters.

    Good luck TTC!

Some ppl just don't get it do they? so far everyone has been ok except for MIL, apparently she said to Grant "oh, it isn't the right time" (this is actually when I was pregnant at the start of last year and ended up miscarrying) What the **** would she know?

I know its easier said than done, but just try to ignore them. If its what you and your DH want then that's all that should matter.

    Goodluck with TTC!

its not hard having them close together most of the time. ds1 and dd are 18months apart. dd and ds2 will be around 2 years apart when he is born. its really just upto you, not your sister. so what f you dont drink as much as you used to, you are a responsible parent who was caring for you child that night. so ofcorse your not going to get plastered.
do what you feel is best, and tell them to keep their opinions to themselves.

How annoying! It's no ones business if you want another one now or 2 years from now - where do people get off! My DD is only just 5mths and we have been trying since she was about 2mths old and I couldn't think of anything better than conceiving our next one very soon - go for it!

thankyou for all your supportive views, I just had to get that off my chest!!!

she has never gotten the motherly thing though everyone else has her child all the time and if you are having a family do she goes to sleep and you have to watch her kid which no one minds once in a while but at the end of the day she is her responsibility!!!

good luck with making those next babies

    Baahumbug,
I hate people who try to tell you when it is a good time for another bubby.
You are the only one who knows when it is the right time.
I fell with DS3 when DS2 was 10 months old, I love that they are so close in age.
They both have so many common interests and can enjoy similar things.
Dont listen to them, tell them " Lucky they aren't doing it then"
    Go for it girl...
