    Default Shopping...........undies or nappy?

Quick rundown.........lil dude has been potty trained for about 5 days now and has only had 1-2 accidents, usually when outside.

I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow and I'll be gone for about 5hrs (35mins drive each way) and I'm wondering if I should put him in a nappy or undies. I think if I put him in a nappy, I'd definitely use undies next week.

I've never been in this situation before as my older kids were at daycare on shopping days.

    What would you do?

We use nappies when we go out and she tells us or we ask her if she needs to go,then when we get home her nappy comes off.

For me one i started with undies i never went back...just wanted to be consistent...we still had accidents but they were dealt with quickly....just me though

I just think for me i would have used nappies more out of convenience if i had gone backwards...

can u post pone your shopping trip maybe?

    Whatever decision u make...goodluck

I use nappies for Hayley when we're out as she isn't fully trained yet, but after a while I will put undies on her and bring a nappy just in case.

I wish, lol, we ran out of food on Sunday, so I've been hanging out for tomorrow. If I don't do it tomorrow, I'll have to leave it till Friday because DD has her orthodontist appointment tomorrow.

I'm leaning more towards undies......might see how warm it is.

Before DD went backwards in her toilet training...only having a few accidents, i would take her in knickers and explain, she must hold on.
I would sit her on the toilet before i left. When we got to the shopping centre i would take her to the toilet and before i left.
Put a disposable change mat under her incase of on an accident in the car, an old towel for clean up while up( i don't believe in making a cleaner do that) and spare clothes.
DD loves sitting on the little toilets in the parents rooms.
    Good luck!
