    Default Careers advice?

Should most unis have a careers advisor that I can talk to? Im starting uni in Feb, and I thought I knew what electives I wanted to do, but now Im not so sure.

    Hey Jade

Ring the Department of Social Sciences at SCU, they can probably give you a good run down of the electives to see where you wanted to head.

Unless of course you want to change degrees all together?? Then i guess you should ring the careers advisor and they can tell you some alternative courses.

    Goodluck

Im wishing I applied to a few more unis. I wasnt expecting to get in!!!

Eventually I want to do Social Work and Teaching (want to do a post graduate for each one), but I just dont know what modules to choose. I would like to be able to get a job after the social science as well if I can. I want to have my options as open as possible!!

I'm pretty sure all Universities have careers counsellors available for their students. I'd give the uni you go to a call and ask them about where to go from here.
