Default How many c-sections can one woman have?

Just wondering if you can have more than 4 c/s> Not that i am planning 4 kids let alone 4 c/s (one was enough for me!)

I think the normal recommendation is 3 but you can stretch it to 4 ..

    My aunt has had 4 c-sections. .

Dunno of anyone who has had more. .and Im with you mm . .1 is more then enough!!

    Isn't that awful!!!
I've often wondered if they are actually allowed to do that! Hopefully times have changed!

Anyway, I was discussing this limitation with my Mum and she said she goes to church with a women who has had ..... wait for it.....NINE!!!

I quizzed my Mum incessantly to get to the bottom of the story, to make sure she had her facts strait and she was adamant. This lady has had nine C/S! Her children range from between 14 y.o and 1y.o.

Should I ever find out any more about this lady I'll make a thread. Her story will be an inspiration to all who don't wish to have the size of their family limited by the knife. (tho in all fairness I don't know that I'd have more than 4

    That's just.........criminal!

My mum was told it would be too risky to have another one after my brother was born (her 2nd) so she stopped there out of fear.

My SIL has had 5 C/S...

With her last, they had to cut away some of the scar tissue, so its like she had a mini tummy tuck, because it wasn't good tissue to sew back together...

She hasn't had her tubes done... She might have one more with my brother... She had her first 4 with her 1st husband (one has passed on) and her last with my brother...
