    Default Would this be fun?

I am throwing a baby shower for a friend in a couple of weeks.

Normally when i do a baby shower for someone I buy a whole stack of singlets & get the guests to decorate one each for mummy to have as a keepsake.
One of my friends who i did it for told me that it washed off too easily even though i "set" it...

So I was thinking of getting everyone to tie- die one instead?

What do you all think? Or do you have any better ideas?!

Excellent idea, both of them. I'd have loved to have had some fun decorated singlets, and tie-dyed would gorgeous.

sounds like a great idea to me ...

you could really go nuts with the colours... and all extra dye could EASILY be washed out before bubs arrives!

would certainly individualise each singlet... - each guest should sign the tag first... so mum can remember who did what!!!

Great idea! I'm also going to have guests decorate a jumpsuit with puffy paint but instead of having bub wear it I thought I would make it a wall decoration... more of a keepsake. That way you don't have to buy a whole lot of singlets, just one outfit that everyone has input into (plus no need to worry about wash and wear).

when you say puffy paint, are you refering to ones like fluffets?
where you paint it on then use your hair dryer to make it puff up?
if so ive been trying to get this sort of paint EVERYWHERE!!
Can you tell me where i can get some - if its not to much to ask

No it's just paint that when you apply it it comes out raised & dries the same way. It'sa not runny, it's quite thick. Most fabric shops sell it but I got mine from Big W in the knitting needle section.
