Why did I do it again....I left my chrissy shopping to the last minute.

I was at the shops 5 hours today (thank god MIL had DS) and I will still need to go back during the week.

Why oh why did I leave everything to the last minute....again....

Note to self: New Years Resolution: Get my *** into gear and start shopping for Chrissy in May!!!

Anyone else doing the last minute dash?

Normally i am organised but this year has been a nightmare. So about a month ago i thought yep i will go get it all done simple. I then got sick didnt i which i havent been able to shake to find out i am pg so this means i will be sick for some time.
Arrrrrgh !!!!!
Im hoping my sister will come over tomorrow or Monday & take me out so i can get it done because i cant face a train trip let alone that & walking around the shops right now.
Luckily DP went out today & organised his dad's gift which is something. Oh & he also found a gift for Boof from Santa lol.

Well, all i have is a layby of a slide for dd which i done in june or july...and im in rocky atm, so i cant do any shopping until wednesday

I was at the shop the day before i come here to get some groceries, and it was horrible. I was traumatised lol

I still have one more person to buy for but I think they will just be getting a bottle of wine - I'm not brave enough to venture back to the shops after going today

i stopped last minute xmas shopping years ago, got tired of finding the carparks, and huge lineups. i always do mine in july now. the only ones i need to do last in november is when the families get together to draw the names for secret santas!:tree:

...but that was good for me...i usually go the day before...theres not much left
