    Default Park play dates

Left field question but when organising play dates would you pick one park over another because it had a coffee van / light snacks / juice pre packaged food /drinks over another.

Have you picked a park solely on the basis it had a cafe close that you could get a takeaway coffee

Yep, I prefer to take DD to a particular park that has a great coffee shop on the way. There's another park that DD likes but I avoid going there because there's no decent coffee anywhere close. DDs park time is my 'sit under a tree and enjoy a coffee in peace' time.

Yep, I have always gravitated towards the parks with coffee or cafes nearby, it's such a bonus imo!
To me it's the best of both worlds, kids happy playing in the outdoors/park and Mums happy to chat and indulge in a coffee/tea, win-win.

Yes, if both options were just as convenient, I would choose the one with coffee!

Definitely! We are lucky we have a great park close by we usually meet up at ( bike track, swings etc) with a coffee shop right in the middle of it - if it's a quick catch up it wouldn't matter but longer than an hour definitely!

Nope because I don't drink coffee.

Not something I would consider (but I need to confess I am not a coffee drinker ). But I definitely prefer parks with toilet facilities. Going somewhere without toilets stresses me out majorly

Yep! I would. It would still have to be a decent playground though

Yes! Important factors in play date location....

    Coffee/light food
    Gated playground
    Shade
    Toilet access

I have 2 toddlers and most of my play dates are with mums of young children and we are often pretty frazzled/stressed/tired so these things that make the catch up easier and more enjoyable for us are very important. X
