My name is Megan Cooper and I am a Researcher and Lecturer in Midwifery at the University of South Australia.
I am currently undertaking a research project looking women’s experiences of accessing and using water immersion for labour and/or birth.
Who can participate?
Note: Even if you haven't used water immersion, your contribution to this study is valuable.
- Women who live in Australia AND
- Are currently pregnant AND/OR
- Have given birth
For the purposes of this study, water immersion is defined as:
Immersion in a pool or bath of water for any stage of labour or birth. It does not include the use of a shower.
This study includes two different surveys:
- Survey one is for women who are pregnant and/or have never used water immersion for labour and/or birth
- Survey two is for women who have used water immersion for labour and/or birth
