Default What do you buy the parentals for Christmas?

When it comes to gift giving I find my parents are the hardest people to buy for! Please give me some ideas and let me know what you buy for you parents or in laws for chrissy

My parentals get magazine subscriptions and a framed photo of their great grandchild

For my dad I usually get him a book and a nice bottle of wine. He's quite hard to buy for so that's my go to. I often buy him old secondhand books so something a bit different.
For my mum it's often something like perfume, pjs, books, nice top, DVD, voucher, earrings. I spend about $100 on each of them.
    Pretty boring here!

I always get mum perfume and DS usually gets her some kind of jewellery ( cheap not expensive!) with dad I always get books ( loves crime thrillers) some kind of chocolate and DS gets him some kind of gag/novelty gift!

The last few years we've done calendars with photos of dd and then photo mugs with really nice coffee. This year we're getting my mum fabric (she's a quilter), my dad a build a row boat kit, fill a nice bottle of wine, and not sure about mil.

I would love to get them books but they turned their games room into a library so chances of me buying a book they already have is very high

We do calendars with photos from the past year, framed photos of the kids and this year we are giving a tea towel that DD's preschool designed.

Add to that usually Bunninga voucher for Dad and perfume or homewares for mum but keeping in mind that we usually have one of us on a plane so has to be fairly portable

We do a calendar and I make a story book about DS and his year. This year I'll have to do 2.
We also get a restaurant voucher, or if they have an overseas trip planned I get some money changed into the currency.

We are going away this year so presents for the kids only but I'm getting my folks something small and funny. I've bought plain cushion covers and I've got iron transfer paper that I'll put the kids faces on so that they can see them all the time when they look at their cushions on the bed
