Default Medela Swing or Spectra s2?

Hi ladies, just looking for opinions on which pump is better, the Medela swing (single) or spectra s2 (double)? I don't think I really need a double but the single Medela is a similar price to the spectra double.

ETA actually I can get Medela single on special from toys r us for $216 at the moment, or from what I've seen spectra double is $300.

Spectra all the way, is hospital grade, the swing isn't, also Spectra is closed system so much more hygienic.... plus the best part, I got way more BM (like heaps more!!) with the spectra than Medela... also the customer service from spectra is amazing, I'm in Perth & I got stock the next day, they will send you a loan machine if you have any issues so you don't have to go without... short answer, I'd never go back to a Medela after using a Spectra!

Very happy with my spectra. I rarely used it as a double pump, but nice to have the option. The closed system was a big plus for me.

Spectra 9 plus. I exclusively pumped for 3 weeks with a hire hospital grade medula and then switched over to the spectra which I've used for coming up to 10 mths. Took my boobs a few pumps to get used to the spectra and I hated it at first. That quickly changed and I am now pumping away whilst overseas (I BF after that 3 weeks pumping as he breast refused initially). I pumped every day to donate as I had an oversupply. Great service also.

Looks like spectra it is! Does anyone know if they ever have sales? Or is it the same price year round?

Loved my spectra. I got it super cheap in an online special. Maybe it was mumgo? Don't think they operate anymore. But I think I paid like $120. I was so impressed with it!

    Yes - all of this!

I also got the double with the rechargeable battery. I used it mainly at work and it was great as it cut my pump time in half. I had a Medela for my first baby but struggled to get anything with it after my second. I took a chance and tried the Spectra and wasn't disappointed. I also found it easier to clean than the Medela.
