Ours usually go up the 1 Dec or thereabouts - the weekend kr my day off.

I think it will go up 27 Nov this year. We are away the weekend of the 3rd otherwise I'd do it then.

Our DD is now 16 months old and I'm thinking about not putting the tree up this year as I think she will either pull the whole thing down or keep pulling the ornaments off!!
How have you all gone with Xmas trees and toddlers??!

I have just barricaded the tree off from dd when she was little and put all good breakable ornaments at the top .

This is how last year's tree ended up with an 18 month old in the house!

DS didn't really do much to the tree. But he wasn't the kind of child to touch everything (he does now though). So maybe depends on how she is? If she touches new/interesting things maybe fence it off or make a 'wall tree' or something?

She is the kind of child who never stops when she's awake, she goes a million miles an hour and is constantly climbing onto whatever she can/grabbing things she sees with her eagle eyes/opening bins etc. she is into everything and never stops sadly I don't think a Xmas tree will work out but I think I'll put it up and see how we go lol. I just worry she's going to pull it down on herself but if I don't put decorations on it maybe she will leave it alone after a couple of days.
We've already used the playpen to keep her away from a bunch of things like the bin and toddler chairs so the Xmas tree won't fit in there

Default I just put my Christmas tree up

@gingermillie what about a wall decal? Something like this?

I'm pretty sure Temple and Webster have some too.

Eta: This one is cute but a little pricey.
