Default Trying to find the right parenting book

    Hi everyone!

Can anyone recommend a good book about how to teach a child discipline. My daughter is 4.5 and we're having troubles getting dressed in the morning, brushing teeth, putting toys away, etc. Its basically always a power struggle and I really need some good tactics to be able to deal with it. So if anyone knows any good books, please let me know. Thank you

Are you sure your child needs discipline?

Could she have issues (sensory or other) that she needs assistance with?

Could it be a case of yourself and your partner not yet being equipped with the strategies needed to cope with a strong willed pre schooler?

If it was me I would forget the book and get my GP to hook me up with a therapist (behavioral/occupational etc)

    Good luck
