    Default Trigger warning. Dreamworld tragedy

We live very close to Dreamworld and have spent many days there so this hits really hard for us. Today my children's principal called an assembly for the older children to have a minute silence in respect of the victims and spoke about what happened: obviously it's the talk of the school. Still can't believe it actually happened.

I just heard on the news that Dreamworld will re-open on Friday.

Saw a meme on FB for the first time.

So not ok. Why can people not show some respect?

I also do not understand why everyone was so upset of the wording. They were not pronounced dead at the time as far as I know - and those are the terms to use.

I also dislike that the media have suddenly investigated and decided exactly what happened (with diagrams of course).

I am not one who likes theme parks generally but I don't think it will stop us from taking the kids when they are old enough.

    It's heartbreaking.

All the more so after reading a friend's FB post this morning, gut wrenching.
He lost a very dear, wonderful friend.
