    Default Finishing progesterone pessaries

Has anybody finished progesterone pessaries and had brown spotting?

I saw OB at 13+3 last week and she said to stop my progesterone. On Saturday and today I've had brown spotting. It's freaking me out as I was on the progesterone because of previous MC.

I'm 14+2 now and called the OB office. The midwife said it should be ok but she would let me know if OB wanted to investigate further, which I'm guessing she doesn't as I haven't had a phone call.

    No one?

The midwife called back and said to take the test of the pessaries I have but not to worry if I don't have any left. I have a few left so will start again tonight but only one a night rather than two so hopefully that'll help a bit

Yes I did. Stopped them at 8 weeks and exactly one week later had brown spotting for four days so went back on them until 12 weeks, stopped them then and haven't had any more spotting since then ( touch wood).

Not having this problem but am due to stop taking them on the weekend when I reach 12 weeks... I'm thinking I might keep taking them up until 14 weeks though...
