Default How long will this take?

After a bfp on Wednesday and Thursday I wish I'd just stopped poas then. But the desire to see that second line getting darker got the better of me and now I've been confronted by two bfn. It looks like this journey is over already. I would have only been 4 weeks 3 days but my heart still feels broken.

Does anyone know how long will it take before my body gets the message? There's no sign of any cramping or bleeding yet.

Anyone? Or has anyone had something like this happen and still ended up with a happy outcome?

Sort of. With DD3 I got a couple of light BFP's, kept up poas daily because like you I wanted to see the lines get darker, but watched them get lighter instead. I had a blood test which showed a small amount of HCG (maybe 30?) and the doctor didn't think the pregnancy was viable. Second blood test a week later was all good.

ETA sorry you are in this position and I hope you are okay.

Thanks for your reply @SSecret Squirrel. I went to the doctor to get the results of my blood tests and my hcg was 2. Definitely not good. Either faulty urine tests or a chemical pregnancy I guess.
