A box of tissues. 2 different moisturizer pump bottles. 3 bottles of water. A strip of panadol. A strip of ibuprofen. A box of endone. A box of hydrogel breast discs. A coaster. A phone charger and my sons light/white noise machine. A plastic wrapper from a snack I had earlier that I've not yet thrown in the bin.

My lamp, remote to the split system and a bottle of water.
I can't stand to have a messy bed side table.

Touch lamp, for ultra lazy functioning. Kid's books, my books (usually one fluffy chick lit, one non fiction - at the mo', Hynobirthing book and a Milly Johnson novel), kid's drawings, water cup, bible, some letters and various ephemera.

A stack of books (crochet patterns).
Two wrist weights on top of the books.
A roll of packing type tape that's blue with rainbows on it.
    Our hard drive
    Our modem
    Home telephone
    Extra handset for home telephone
A bandage that I strap my hand with
    A hair clip
    Sun glasses
    Bottle of water
    Hubby's phone

That seems like a lot written down but it really doesn't look that crowded
