Default Bentgo lunch box... how to keep cool?

Hi! I have just purchased online a kids bentgo lunch box and was wondering how other mummas kept them cool? Do I need a cooler bag and ice pack now? If so, can anyone recommend a funky cooler pack that it will all fit in to? It's for a 5yo boy and so many look so little kiddish...

Thanks in advance for any help

We use fridge to go bags, the bentgo fits in them perfectly with room to spare for a yoghurt pouch. The fridge to go bags are great for us.

I wondered the same thing and was hesitant to put food in here that might go off but after DDS1 had been at school for 3 years he mentioned that there was a fridge in the class room for lunch boxes (I'm slow on the uptake). Does your kids school have a fridge? I had no idea it was a thing, def wasn't when I was at school.

I used a smash cooler bag with thin flat ice bricks when I was using a yumbox. We have a go green lunchbox now and that came with its own cooler bag.

Maybe just wait till the box comes and then take it to the shops with you to find one it fits into.

We have the planetbox and it comes with its own insulated bag with a space for a ice brick , as its stainless steel it keeps quite cool and even when I pick up him up at 3pm it's still cold!
