    Default Superannuation funded ivf

Has anyone here applied for early release of superannuation funds from the DHS to pay for IVF?

Which category did you use (Mental distress?)

and who who signed the report bit for you - GP? IVF clinic? Supercare?

We're about to start the process with Supercare. Fingers crossed my application is accepted. We're planning on going to South Africa for a donor egg.

@siansmum fingers crossed for you! Would love to hear your feedback on Supercare. Do they charge a fee for coaching you through the process?

Yes, they charge $980 for an application to use services within Australia, and $1480 if you're looking to go overseas for a donor egg. There is also a $480 psychologist's fee on top of that.

I used supercare and was successful... I got the fee back in the super money, and since I reached the safety net I got most of the psych fee back.

Skeeter, was this for treatment in Australia or overseas?

Pretty sure it's Australia wide, and I'm hoping international as well.
