Default 13 weeks and itchy skin

I'm 13 weeks with baby #2. In the last 2ish weeks my lower back and sides have been itching like crazy. It's obviously my skin starting to stretch so I started using Bio Oil, which I used last pregnancy with success and no stretch marks. Unfortunately it's not really helping this time. Has anyone found Palmers Coco Butter helpful with the itch? Wondering if it might be better as the texture is a lot thicker than the oil.

Itchy skin can be caused by a pregnancy induced liver problem. Please get it checked out by your care provider. X

I've had severely itchy skin for two of my pregnancies all over my whole body. I do find a moisturiser is better then bio oil. It's hard to find something that actually stops it though so you may be in for a long pregnancy.

Definitely mention it to your OB as mentioned above because it could be obstetric Cholesostasis which can be quite dangerous.

    Hope it eases soon x
