    Default Helpppp

Hello. I'm 17 years old with a 4 month old beautiful son! My period was meant to come today but it didn't, I had sex a day before my period was meant to come and I was just wondering what are the possibilities of being pregnant or is it just late?
I just frightened about the littlest things and really need some advice, thankyou

    Welcome to Bub Hub.
Have you had a period since Bub was born? Sometimes it takes a while to get back into a normal cycle.

    I have a couple of times, that's why I don't understand why it's late

It's highly unlikely you are pregnant due to sex you had ?2 days ago (1 day before your period was due).

Did you have other sex during the period since you had your last period?

Have you been using contraception? If not please see your doctor about an option that's suitable for you. They might also be able to talk to you about how a woman's monthly cycle work. Not meaning to scare you however as an older person I fear it would be bloody ****ty and stressful to have babies 1 year apart. As such a young person the impacts (lifestyle and career limiting) would be significantly greater for you.

Are you breastfeeding? How many cycles have you had? It could just still be irregular and that's quite normal after having a baby.

It can definitely take a while for cycles to regulate. Is it too late for the morning after pill?

I completely understand what you mean. I was on the pill, still no period and the past 2 times it has been regular. It would be way too stressful for me right now

Any excessive stress (apart from a 4 month old)? Maybe give it up to a week then go see the dr. I would say no to pregnancy (unless you mean that you had sex 2 days before your last period - then I'd say maybe).
