She was tied up at one stage apparently.... Who knows, but she was such a small stature and maybe she was so drunk, scared and being in a different country, not knowing where she was etc. she didn't know what else to do, but try to climb down.
I know when I was younger I didn't always make the best decisions, especially when drunk.
What caused her to "attack" him? Why is it all taped? Even after a fight, if someone fell off your balcony and you knew it was an accident would you take off and get pizza and not check?
I don't know, he doesn't come across as a very nice character. I know that doesn't make him a murderer but still all very strange to me.

This is where my avid watching of true crime stuff clouds my judgement. I've heard of women doing crazy things like breaking their own limbs etc to get away from something that was far far worse.

I just think, if he is guilty, and if she thought she was 100% going to die in there, taking a 99.9% chance of dying trying to climb down is still the better odds

I've not been following the case that closely, just what I've read online on the usual news sites I go on. I wasn't aware audio had been released. I've not heard it, not sure I want to.

I also don't get why he didn't just throw her out. like if she was being such a pest, why not grab her and physically carry her out the front door and then lock the door. or call the police!? if I had an idiot in my house throwing stuff at me id call the police?

unless he had drugged her and couldn't call the police??

I also think she must've been so drunk/drugged that the danger of climbing off the balcony didn't register. nobody in a rational, sober state would attempt such an act 14 storeys up.

the posts in this thread have got me intrigued to learn more actually. has anybody got any links to any of the better news articles on the case?

The audio was very disturbing. The heavy breathing at the start made me think maybe they were doing something else if you know what I mean.. but she did sound like she was on something. When she was screaming "no no!" I felt very anxious and ready to stop listening. I think the fact that he went out and got pizza etc was maybe him being in shock.. So very sad.

I kind of think it was an accident, he locked her out as it was closer than front door, she was drunk and tried to climb down and then fell. I do think it's very bazaar he calmly went out for pizza after though

Can of worms but often in domestic situations the man is automatically seen as the perpetrator so police would possibly arrest him. And again he was probably concerned if he touched her she would cry assault

but then why record everything and make the threats that he did? he threatened to throw her off the balcony on the audio (I just listened to it, it's chilling) and then that's how she died? that looks way more suspicious than if he'd just forced her out the front door.

she definitely sounded very out of it. and I agree, the heavy breathing did make it sound like they were having sex?

as a pp said above, only 2 people know what happened that night. and one is deceased.
