Default Chances of getting pregnant at 6-7dpo?

My husband and I had unprotected intercourse at 6-7dpo and now my period is late.
took a test 2 days before period was due with negative result.
what are the chances of pregnancy do far past ovulation?
    thank you in advance.

I would say impossible. Your egg only hangs around for around 12-24 hours after ovulation.

Zero. Sperm may live up to 5 days, but the egg only lasts 24 hours.

I'm going off my ovulation date from an app. so I don't know how accurate it is.
I don't know a lot about the days of ovulation- do some people ovulate further into their cycle than others? are app calenders just rough estimations?
I've had 2 babies, I should know this stuff! ahaha

Yep - the time you ovulate in your cycle can vary, but generally your LP (time between ovulation and AF) is constant. If you ovulate later than usual, AF will be late. Apps are only rough indicators, the only real way to know if you've ovulated is by temp and bloods.

Yeah, I got pregnant accidentally with my third because I thought I'd ovulated several days before, turns out it must have been delayed because bam, I was pregnant!

I don't think that I am pregnant, and assumed the chances of pregnancy were very low to none.
but the late period has made me a little anxious!

thanks so much for the info! 😁

I know eggs don't live long but I was under the impression they can implant late?

They can implant late, but if they're not fertilized within 24 hours of ovulation, there's nothing left to implant

Those apps are purely a very rough guide.

The 3 times I've been pregnant, I've ovulated on day 11
